The Lady Horologist

Inspiration from Vintage styles.

Chameleon

Chameleon     I love citrine! Mostly because my son and I gathered many specimens in the Sierra Nevadas, and had a blast doing it. Typically, we would find varying shades of gold and yellow. Green Citrine is a little more difficult to find…and when we do, it’s like finding buried treasure.
This pendant has green citrine as the centerpiece and is the star of this creation. Wanting to accentuate the light green hues, I used gold foil and green-blue, iridescent, colored pigment on the Sculpey bezel and wrapped it around the stone like a blanket. I envision this pendant hanging from a gold, satin ribbon, hung loosely around the neck.
